Golden Triangle: Neon Noose
Golden Triangle bassist, Alix Brown, molests a boa while looking very Nancy Sinatra during this video for their single, “Neon Noose.” Lo-fidelity girl rock seems to be the rage these days, (Dum Dum Girls, Vivian Girls and The Splinters come to mind), but I like the mixture of 60s pop nostalgia and garage-driven new wave pounce. Vocally speaking, the harmonies are the draw.
Their album, Double Jointer, will be out March 2nd through Hardly Art.
