First video round up of 2021 to cap off a ridiculous week. Hope you're all staying safe. Cults are bad. MF DOOM: "Gazillion ( Ron Gallo Tribute remix)" (via Tell All Your Friends / New West Records ) Ron Gallo's upcoming album  PEACEMEAL is scheduled to release March 3rd.  Website —  http://rongallomusic.com/ Note from Ron Gallo: "To date, I don't think an artists death has hit me as much as MF DOOM and I did not expect that until it happened. That feels like the DOOM way - he's like a shadow lurking genius, a humble kung fu master - grounded, calm but could kill you in ten seconds, in this case left the body on halloween of the most fucked up year in memory and no one found out until New Years eve. This remix I did just kind of fell into place as a tribute, I had made the music track a few weeks ago and then realized his vocal from "Gazillion Ear" fit perfectly on top. The Day In Headphones: Warish

Warish Down In Flames RidingEasy Records Released: 9/13/19 My most direct and least verbose comment about this new Warish record is this: my head has not stopped nodding since I hit PLAY .  Down In Flames , the band's latest release for RidingEasy Record s, released Friday, September 13th. The cover art is like an homage to Sabbath 's Never Say Die! , perhaps inspired by the pilot motif. The music, however, owes more to the substantively caustic output that made Touch & Go and Amphetamine Reptile the fine subsidiaries of quality annihilative sounds that they were/are, the trio no doubt influenced by the muck-riddled sounds of the late 80s/early 90s underground that those labels curated. Oh, and the vocalist/guitarist is Tony Hawk 's fucking kid .  All info comes courtesy of Us-Them Group/Riding Easy Records. Warish streaming forthcoming full length debut ahead of release SoCal "evil-ish" sludge-punk meets early Nirvana, Scratch Acid ...

A tad overdue on this one. Torche : "Admission" (via Speakeasy PR / Relapse Records / YouTube) Via Speakeasy PR: MIAMI, July 2, 2019 – Torche has unveiled a video for “Admission”, with the clip for the album’s title track created by the band’s own Rick Smith and Jonathan Nuñez . “' Admission,' the title track off of our new album, is an extremely important song to us on many levels. Steve has opened the doors to a deep and personal place, lyrically shedding light on his personal life, and I worked hard and diligently to capture the feeling of a song I wrote during trying times, ” explains guitar player Nuñez, who also produced the album which is slated for a July 12 release via Relapse Records. “Through the use of effects and various pedals, including a couple of my own line, Nuñez Amps, the feeling of the track took the shape it was destined for. The delays and heavy overdrive are essential to the song and we wanted a video to visually capture what the ...
